The US Green Card Lottery Program, known as DV (Diversity Visa) Lottery program, is a good opportunity for potential immigrants to obtain the status as a permanent legal resident of the USA. You may apply by yourself at the U.S. Department of State website, if you wish. This program runs each year and provides 50,000 "Green Cards" to applicants randomly selected in a lottery process.
Photo Requirements
All Green Card Lottery applicants are required to provide recent photograph of themselves and all co-applicants (spouse and children). You will need a digital file containing your photo which will be submitted online with your entry form.
USAGCLS accepts photos in all formats (digital or paper) and through all forms of delivery (mail, e-mail and digital upload). Once we receive your photos, our Photo Department staff reviews them and adjusts the technical specifications (size, weight, etc…) to the correct ones. Then they will be uploaded to your application and submitted. If there is a problem with your photo, our Customer Service willwe contact you by e-mail as soon as possible and will ask you for a replacement photo.
We will adjust your photos to the needed specifications (size, weight), however we CANNOT fix photos which come in very poor quality, very small sizes or the wrong background or have face or head covers. Please submit photos in the highest possible quality. It is important that background of the photo is white.
Important: Before you try to submit your photos you should check if you qualify. Once you know you qualify, you may sign up with USAGCLS and submit your photos then.
If you already have USAGCLS Registration # and Password, please go to Application Login on www.usagcls.com home page, log into your application, visit the Photographs section and submit your photos there.
